Halstrøm-Odgaard have interpreted the woven gap in a classic check pattern to create a design based on the name Iota, the ninth letter in the Greek alphabet. The letter iota can be used as both a long and a short vowel, inspiring a visual image that the two designers have translated into this minimalist pattern.
