The louvred, overlapping design of the Sussex collection is reminiscent of the shingles on English cottages, whilst still remaining modern and elegant. Integrated into the credenza are two hidden doors, allowing room for storage without compromising the aesthetic of the horizontal lines. Available in either hand-picked walnut or oak veneer, the Sussex Sideboard has a variety of functions: from a media unit to a clever solution to divide a space. Whatever it's purpose, the Sussex is guaranteed to add a quintessential touch of the country to even the most contemporary homes.
Woodgate established his first design studio in London in 1988. Working from his London base, Woodgate began to build his reputation as a thoughtful designer of both style and practical innovation. He has a studied and patient approach to design and the work he produces is always marked by its attention to detail.
Woodgate became a Royal Designer for Industry (RDI) in 2003.
