The designers at Pablo Studio wanted to create a product that was revolutionary yet familiar. The Circa is the result of that process: a new archetype for table lighting, one that blurs the boundary between a utilitarian work lamp and traditional shaded lamp. The defining feature of the Circa is its flat-panel LED disc which fluidly moves above its axis, offering mobility and adjustability in how you cast light. This task lamp is also highly adept at creating a balanced, ambient light, and an integrated USB charging port adds another dimension to the technological aspects of the piece.
Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo has defined his career by creating beautiful, sparse, utilitarian lighting that fosters harmonious relationships between people and their environments. In doing so, he has forged a method of design that produces only the essence of an idea while always championing the user’s experience. Concepts laid bare, his objects speak a universal language.
Since establishing Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993, Pardo’s studio has gained international recognition for its innovative lighting and home furnishings.
