Story
Just as plywood is a structural material made of layers of wood glued together, this textile ply rug consists of several individual strands combined in one thread. Inspired by weaving traditions of the past, its pattern and infused colour have been designed by weaving different coloured yarns into the ply. Available in three sizes in 100% wool, the Ply rug is a high-quality and expertly-crafted area rug that will bring subtle warmth to any room.

Educated as a colour and print designer at the Danish Design School and the Rhode Island School of Design, USA, Odgaard focuses on using simple, graphic patterns and humorous repetitions. She sets out to test a certain technique or a sensation resulting in textiles with a unique expression.
