Materials & finishes
The swivel base is constructed from aluminium with a white Rilsan-coated finish. The shell is moulded fibreglass reinforced plastic bonded finish. The foam upholstery is removable via a zipped cover and velcro fastening. Upholstered in Knoll West fabric (38% Cotton; 24% Acrylic; 18% Viscose; 12% Wool; 2% Nylon).

Delivery options

We offer the following UK delivery options:

Standard Delivery
Small/medium, non-fragile items are delivered by DPD. DPD deliveries are trackable at every stage and will be delivered to your door between Monday and Friday.

Large items, fragile small/medium items under 20kg in weight that require extra protection on delivery will be delivered by our trusted delivery partners Atlas of London or Smart Van. They will contact you to arrange a suitable time (between Monday and Friday) to deliver your order (curbside delivery only).

White-glove delivery
‘White-glove delivery’ is our recommended service for all large items that require assembly and packaging removal.

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you, if required all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Installation is not available for lighting products or wall-mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Story

Winning the MoMa Design Award in 1969, the Knoll Tulip Armchair, designed by Eero Saarinen, is a modern design icon. Ergonomic in form, a moulded Fiberglass shell with a white Rislan-coated finish easily supports the body’s natural shape. The armchair works equally well as a dining or occasional chair, making a statement in any situation it is placed in. The armchair is fully upholstered in hardwearing yet beautifully textured fabrics.

Fully upholstered and partly upholstered chairs without armrests are also available within the Knoll Tulip collection.
