The chair's manufacturing is unprecedented and it took two years of research and development to bring it into production. Until now, the carbon compound used for Piuma had only been used in the automotive and aeronautical industries. It is produced using new injection moulding technology and a previously untried blend of carbon-filled plastic. Piuma is a true breakthrough of industrial design.
