Story
Designer Laura Strasser, in creating this pendant light, took inspiration from her fascination with the German poem “Von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland” (Squire Ribbeck from Ribbeck in Havelland), written by Theodor Fontane in 1889. The character Von Ribbeck was a generous man who gave pears from his tree to the children of his village, inspiring the design and clean, minimalist form of the Von Ribbeck Pendant Light.
