The Fifty-Fifty Mini, designed by Sam Weller, is a stripped back, simplistic desk lamp that is characterised by a defining counterweight system. A constant equilibrium is achieved through a sliding weight that is attached to the frame, creating a dynamic design that embodies the beauty of physics and engineering. The petite size and effortless manoeuvring system make the lamp perfect for use as a bedside light, or for creating specific directional light when placed on a side table or desk space. The lamp is available in soft black or ash grey and is a tactile piece that is suitable for both the home and workplace.
Born in 1985, Sam Weller is a British industrial designer who studied at the Royal College of Art in London, graduating in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Design Products.
