Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s, the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman from Vitra is undoubtedly one of the most famous and beloved pieces of furniture design in the world. The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman has survived and thrived over the years, due to its high-quality materials, unbeatable comfort and pioneering craftsmanship. Truly a piece that will only get better with age and become the heart of your home, this Santos Palisander wood variation is the jewel in the crown of the Eames Lounge Chair collection.

Classic Dimensions – Height: 84cm x Width: 84cm x Depth: 85-91cm
Seat Height: 38cm
Ottoman Dimensions: Height: 42cm x Width: 63cm x Depth: 56cm

The 'classic dimension' version is the original version of the Eames Lounge Chair. The 'new dimension' version was introduced in order to cater for taller body types. It is recommended that if you are around 6ft 1 inches tall and above, you should consider choosing the new dimension version. The Ottoman is the same size for each version.

Material & finishes
Seat and backrest shells in moulded plywood with a Santos Palisander veneer. Upholstered in Vitra Premium leather in black, a smooth cowhide leather with a flat grain and fine top sheen. Thickness 1.1-1.3mm; fastness to light – Type 5. Base in black powder coated metal.
