Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) and Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) both attended the Danish school of Interior Design, where they studied architecture under Finn Juhl and subsequently with Arne Jacobsen.
Creating a handful of designs as a partnership, the duo were driven by a mutual mission to make a form a pure derivative of function. Their work is defined by mixing materials and shapes, forming streamlined, sleek pieces; with many commissioned pieces intended for international airports, penthouse apartments, high-profile lifestyle magazines and even early James Bond films.
