Re-launched in 2015 at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the design is defined by an organic, voluptuous profile, inspired by the notion of a warm, snug polar bear cub in the arms of its mother. Stylish and inviting, the chair's vast curved form and overflowing armrests provide the utmost comfort, enhanced by soft to the touch fabric upholstery. Ideally situated in a living room, hallway or open-plan space, this beautiful lounge chair supplements timeless style and character to your home, the perfect place to relax and snuggle up after a long day.
Architect and modernist, Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) was an initiator in bringing functionalism to Denmark.
After attending boarding school with Arne Jacobsen and his brother Mogens Lassen, the three of them maintained a close bond through childhood and later in life as colleagues. He is now renowned for his overstuffed furniture and has received major international recognition in the design world for his armchairs, which today have become known as “the Flemming Lassen style”.
