First presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1935, the Mingle Sofa was lauded for its distinctive style featuring a graceful, contoured silhouette and intimate, encircling armrests that provide sitters with snuggly support. Inspired by Lassen’s travels across Europe, the sculptural curves evoke French elegance and cradling arms are a nod to his experience of Italian warmth and geniality.
Upholstered in luxurious sheepskin wool in homage to the original model, the Mingle’s iconic design, available in a range of colourways, adds an air of sophistication to any classic or contemporary interior. Meanwhile, its compact footprint and raised seating platform, allowing for storage underneath, make it ideal for leisurely lounging in smaller living spaces.

Architect and modernist, Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) was an initiator in bringing functionalism to Denmark.
After attending boarding school with Arne Jacobsen and his brother Mogens Lassen, the three of them maintained a close bond through childhood and later in life as colleagues. He is now renowned for his overstuffed furniture and has received major international recognition in the design world for his armchairs, which today have become known as “the Flemming Lassen style”.
