Originally released in 1982, the Callimaco Floor Lamp for Artemide is characterised by a mix of painted hues to distinguish its components and uncomplicated elements. Sculpturally impressive, the composition of linear and cylindrical forms has stripped the light of any unnecessary decoration, focusing upon the importance of functionality. Its innovative design diffuses an indirect light whilst a polished chromed handle is integrated into the stem of the body making it easy to adjust the position if necessary. Enforcing the notion that simple design is always the most effective, this striking piece is ideally utilised in a living room, office or hallway supplementing a touch of style and adjustable lighting to your space.
