The A333, also known lovingly as the 'Turnip', is a wonderfully sculptured piece whether lit or unlit. Hand-spun steel is shaped to form a curved shade, finished in a choice of perforated brass or white metal detailing. When in use, light emerges through the circular recesses near the top of the lampshade, serving to emphasise the pendant light’s rounded form.

As one of the great architects and furniture designers of the 20th century, Finnish designer Alvar Aalto breathed life and warmth into modernism, placing emphasis on "organic" geometry; supple, natural materials; and a respect for human feeling.
Alvar Aalto's collection of mid-century furniture and lighting is produced exclusively by Scandinavian brand Artek including the iconic Artek 60 Stool.
