Inspired by the bold geometry and playful spirit of mid-century design, the VP13 Topan Table Lamp pays homage to Verner Panton’s fearless experimentation. Mounted on top of a transparent cylindrical base, the distinctive shade appears to float in mid-air, and its free-standing structure allows it to swivel as desired to provide optimal directional light.
Perfect for modern homes or boutique hospitality spaces, the Topan adds a touch of artistic flair to any room by blending transparency and movement into a striking visual statement. Whether placed on a bedside table, workspace desk or shelving display, it provides a dynamic lighting experience that invites interaction and play.
Verner Panton is one of the iconic designers of the last century. Panton rose to fame designing the ‘Panton Chair’ for Vitra. Panton’s designs continue to be hugely popular and are still a big influence today on designers and architects.
Verner Panton was a student of Architecture at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen. Amongst Panton’s major achievements in the design and architecture world, is the design of the interior for the Spiegel publishing house in Hamburg.
Panton’s designs are fantastically fun, colourful and contemporary and include the organic shapes of the Panton and Amoebe chairs right through to the ecliptic Flowerpot lamp collection.
