Designed in close collaboration with the Panton family and developed from original drawings and prototypes created by Verner Panton himself, the Flowerpot VP12 Floor Lamp translates a signature pendant lampshade into a freestanding form, honouring a true icon of Danish design while reinterpreting it for contemporary living. Never before brought to market, the floor lamp version is finally realised.
Available in a range of colourways that match its beloved counterparts in &Tradition’s Flowerpot series, the floor lamp casts a generous, ambient glow, sitting effortlessly beside sofas or lounge chairs in both private and commercial interiors. Whether at home or in shared spaces, it brings warmth, character and a joyful lift of colour - perfect for relaxed moments and a gentle lift in mood.
Verner Panton is one of the iconic designers of the last century. Panton rose to fame designing the ‘Panton Chair’ for Vitra. Panton’s designs continue to be hugely popular and are still a big influence today on designers and architects.
Verner Panton was a student of Architecture at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen. Amongst Panton’s major achievements in the design and architecture world, is the design of the interior for the Spiegel publishing house in Hamburg.
Panton’s designs are fantastically fun, colourful and contemporary and include the organic shapes of the Panton and Amoebe chairs right through to the ecliptic Flowerpot lamp collection.
