Named after Viggo Boesen’s mother-in-law Petra, the VB3 Lounge Chair is an exploration of an original design produced in 1938. The resulting wingback chair is a soft, warm enfolding design that is emblematic of Boesen’s Funkis style. The chair’s curved seat and backrest provided unparalleled comfort, allowing you to relax for hours in its embrace. The design’s heritage can be seen in the VB1 Little Petra lounge chair, which shares a similar form but in smaller proportions. The size of the VB3 makes it the perfect centrepiece for any living space, the sumptuous upholstery adding a cosy, almost naive aesthetic.
