Inspired by the way linear structures shape our surroundings, its slender silhouette feels almost architectural, creating a considered presence whether illuminated or at rest.
Crafted from lacquered FSC®-certified oak and tumbled aluminium, the 122cm pendant lamp can be suspended horizontally or vertically, alone or as part of a larger composition. With compatible dimming, its output can be smoothly adjusted from 100% to 10%, allowing you to shape the atmosphere around you with subtle shifts of light and shadow. The TY1 Numbra Pendant explores light beyond function, beautifully shaping mood, rhythm and space.

Japanese designer Teruhiro Yanagihara established his own studio in 2002.
Yanagihara is based in Osaka with design collaborations all over the world. He is a big fan of coherence and narrativity and dreams of designing a total space – not just products and interiors but all the details and elements in between – in order to create a rich atmosphere with relevant content in an inspirational unity.
