Mezcla, the Spanish word for 'mixture' perfectly summarises the lounge table's unique, eye-catching aesthetic. The table's simple geometric form has been elegantly sectioned, with each piece defined by a different material or colour. With a durable metal base and stem, topped with a wooden, marble or stone tabletop, the colourful, contemporary design is a luxurious addition to your living space. Perfect for positioning in front of a sofa or beside a lounge chair, the petite table embodies bold, refreshing design.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
