A sculptural approach to design, the Fly SC10 Lounge Chair offers the user a place to sit, relax and unwind. The seat itself references traditional Scandinavian detailing and woodworking techniques, boasting an expertly handcrafted solid oak wood slatted backrest, a typical feature of Nordic design. Archetypal in many respects, SC10 does not impose any particular posture onto the sitter, unlike many of the sofas in Scandinavian design history, allowing the user to arrange the loose cushions as they desire.
Available in a range of stylishly muted colour tones, the SC10 Lounge Chair can be effortlessly integrated into an array of styled interiors, both classic and contemporary.
Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou.
