Named after Copenhagen’s Betty Nansen Theatre, a wooden pavilion originally built in 1857, the chair boasts a compact, versatile design. Available in two contemporary colourways and a natural oak finish, the piece can coordinate with interior spaces of all styles. A practical addition to the modern home, the chair can be stacked up to eight pieces, ideal for setting to one side when not in use. Stylish and adapatble, the &Tradition Betty TK2 Dining Chair embodies a durable, supportive design. Also available, the &Tradition Betty TK1 Dining Chair.

Finnish designer Sami Kallio and Danish designer Jakob Thau have joined forces to create the Betty TK1 Chair for &Tradition.
Kallio grew up in Finland and was awarded a master's degree in design from the Gothenburg School of Design and Crafts. Thau was raised in Denmark and received a master's degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design.
Both then went on to train as cabinet makers, moving forward to execute their own purposeful, timeless designs; reflecting traditional techniques that have been reworked to a contemporary context.
