Starting in the centre, the pattern spreads out towards the edges creating a circumference of gorgeous borders. The shapes are drawn one by one, and as they are repeated, are transformed into a great ornament. Available in three sizes (small, medium and large); each size takes its pattern from the one before it, following in its tracks and creating a beautiful design.
Nani Marquina studied industrial design at the Massana school in Barcelona. In 1973 she began her activity at the Selles-Marquina Architecture Studio and soon opened a store, 'Self-Decor', dealing in interior decoration projects. It was here that she developed her first rug designs.
In 1987, she established the brand nanimarquina. Influenced by Nani's creative background and desire for innovative designs, the brand are an outstanding pioneer of modern and contemporary rugs.
