In celebration of 60 years since the PH Artichoke Suspension Light was designed by Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen have created a limited edition light in brushed brass.
In Denmark in 1958, Henningsen redefined modern illumination with the creation of the Artichoke Suspension Light, creating an intricate visual masterpiece that omitts elegance and sophistication. This new metal edition retains the timeless sculptural form and splendour of the natural artichoke shape, with the brass material creating a new refreshing glow and sense of warmth to interiors both classic and contemporary. The light is made up of 72 punched leaves, brushed individually and painted white on the inside to softly reflect the light. Available exclusively through 2018, each special edition light will be engraved with an anniversary engraving of PH's initials and a unique number, from 2019 the light will be delivered without the engraving.
