Story
During Noguchi's design process, a total of over 100 hand-made Shoji-paper models for his lighting collection were created.
Noguchi chose the name 'akari', as this word connotes brightness and light in his native Japanese.
The Akari UF1-XN Table Lamp is created from washi paper and bamboo ribbing and is supported by a metal frame. The lamp accommodates up to a 40 watt bulb.
