The light was designed by Benjamin Hubert whose vision was to demonstrate an approach to design where an everyday material is used in an unconventional context. Each concrete shade is individually slip-cast and left inverted in the mould to dry for a number of days, during this process each piece develops its own unique pattern of lines and colour variations on the interior of the shade which deeply contrasts the smooth exterior of the shade. Also available in dark grey and white.
