A revival of La Rotonda, a classic of the I Contemporanei collection, Pantheon develops a gene that has been present within its structure from the very beginning. From its former life, suspended between a wooden sculpture, an impossible invention of Escher and a piece of fine carpentry, it evolves into a pure emblem, an ideogram of eastern clarity and incisiveness.
The dimensions of the Pantheon also derive from the East: those of the large round tables for families gathering on festive occasions. The incorporation of the typical rotating disc also stems from this and from Japanese refectories: a glass heart which opens the surface for a view of the underlying structure. With sublimated forms and fine materials, this complex object exalts the value of food and togetherness as indispensable ritesimbibed with ancient meanings untouched by time.
