Satyendra Pakhale was born in India, was trained in India and Switzerland, now lives in Amsterdam. He has absorbed influences from all these different cultures as well as from different periods, and can draw on them at will.

He does this in such a way that he has rapidly developed into an extremely interesting designer who is arousing international interest. In 1998, he set up his own design practice in Amsterdam.
