Maria Berntsen is one of Rosendahl's new designers. She has a broad education; a Bachelor in economics, the School of Architecture of the Danish Art Academy, and a study trip to a school of architecture in Bordeaux. The three-dimensional element is an important feature of her designs, for which she will often makes models. Since 1992, Maria Berntsen has had her own design office, designing furniture, lamps, applied art products, jewellery and kitchen utensils for Danish and foreign companies. She also teaches at the Danish School of Design.
