Frederic Gooris was born in Belgium in 1974 and graduated in product development at the Hogeschool Antwerpen in 1998. The following year, he obtained his master in design at the Domus Academy of Milan. Then he moved to Paris and started to work for Philippe Starck. Later he went back to Milan to work for over 4 years for Stefano Giovannoni. During these collaborations, he worked as a designer on a very wide range of products for internationally renowned companies such as: Target, Alessi, Oras, Laufen, Inda, Magis, Deborah, Lavazza, Hannspree, Helit, Siemens, Modo, Ycami and Felice Rossi.
In 2003 he decided to make Milan his professional base and founded his own studio. He has designed for companies around the world such as EQ3, Ferrero, Nestle, Dainese, Magrabi Optical, DK City, Pelpak and Isodark.
