Born in Buenos Aires of Italian descent, Diego Fortunato currently lives in Barcelona. The focus of his career was initially placed on sculpture but he later became involved in the world of industrial design, allowing him to reach a broader public.

Diego Fortunato's furniture and object designs are not mere exercises in arbitrary form, they are based on a original concept. His collection of rugs for Nani Marquina are fun, exciting and brighten up interiors adding colour and shape.
