The Cherner Chair company manufacturers designs made famous by Norman Cherner in the 1950's. Norman Cherner was an influential leader in the design of curved wooden furniture. His use of ply-wood to create beautiful wooden curves revolutionised furniture design in the middle of the last century.
Cherner's sons, Benjamin and Thomas formed the Cherner Chair Company to manufacture and market some of the most influential and well recognized designs from their father's portfolio spanning almost 50 years. These include the Cherner armchair and the Cherner side chair
