Offering a modern take on the common everyday object, the w202 Halo Pendant s2 gives new light and life to the archetypal lightbulb. The conical shade with a slight taper provides a subtle placement for the built-in COB LED. Crafted from mouth-blown opal glass the shade and bulb work together to create a soft downward glow. Dimmable with distinctive elements from the wider W202 Halo series, the pendant provides a modern injection of light for most residential spaces.

After graduating, he established his own architectural practice in the early 1980s and went on to receive a multitude of awards and titles. These included becoming an Honorary Member of the Florence Academy of Art and Design, a Royal Designer for Industry (RDI) and receiving the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
One of his greatest successes was receiving the RIBA Royal Gold Medal for Architecture in 2011. Given in recognition of a lifetime’s work, the Royal Gold Medal is approved personally by Her Majesty the Queen.
