Slender and generously upholstered, with solid oak armrests, premium leather upholstery and a steel frame in olive green. The new editions are true to the quality and stripped-back aesthetic of original Prouvé pieces.
The collection pays homage to a bygone industrial age and together with the architecture it inhabits, it can create a workplace that reflects a radical design approach.
Authenticated with a special edition label, the furniture and lighting in the Prouvé RAW Office Edition will only be available until the end of 2016.
Jean Prouve was born into an artistic family in Nancy, France. Prouve trained as a metalsmith before attending engineering school in Nancy, and his intimate knowledge of metal remained the foundation of his work and career.
After opening his own workshop in 1923, Prouve began producing modern metal furniture of his own design as well as collaborating with some of the best-known French designers of the day, including Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand.
