Part of the multi-purpose Studio Chair Series, innovatively designed for use in both domestic and public spaces, the Normann Copenhagen Studio Armchair - Fully Upholstered captivates but glows with pure simplicity. Constructed from a slender steel frame that protrudes below the chair’s seat and back, framing the moulded shell in an airy design, its beautifully geometric profile is upholstered in luxurious Synergy fabric. Not only providing the utmost comfort, it is also stackable and easily portable, perfect for storing when not in use and remarkably convenient when entertaining guests. Supplementing a touch of style to your home, this striking armchair is ideally utilised around a dining table, in front of a desk or as a standalone seat in a hallway.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes functionality of the products. If you understand the product, it doesn’t need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological- and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects, and makes them trustworthy. In my designs I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
