Moroso My Beautiful Backside Sofa
The My Beautiful Backside Sofa is a composition of highly coloured, floating cushions in various shapes - a fusion of two worlds, India & Europe.
Symbols are used as a means of customisation- such as the buttons on the cushion back. These make it unique, just as you would add little distinguishing touches to an article of clothing. A mixture of various fabrics are used, combining fabrics and textures. Fabrics include silk and cotton and a Kvadrat wool designed by Giulio Ridolfo which is woven like an Indian silk, the warp and weft are of two different colours. Each fabric is hand-embroidered in brilliant colours. The cushions are covered with Indian textiles and decorated with very large, extremely beautiful buttons. Available with additional cushions (in Seta fabric) with embroidered motifs, in navy blue.
