Born in Berlin in 1968, Jerszy Seymour grew up in the multicultural concrete landscape of London as an integral part of the 80's street scene creating club flyers and as a dj playing hip hop, electro, dub and ska in the underground club scene. In 1991 he was given a scholarship to the Royal College of Art where he developed his interest in design and sculpture.
His work has been exhibited in the Design Museum in London, the Vitra Design Museum in Basel and Berlin, the Pompidou Center and the Palais De Tokyo in Paris as well as in the renowned Gallery Kreo in Paris. His work is held in the permanent collection of the 'Fondation National de Art Contemporaine' France. He has a given lectures at the Domus Academy in Milan, the Royal College of Art in London, and the Vitra Design Workshops in France.
