The classic PH 5 is one of Louis Poulsen’s most famous designs, developed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. It is a response to constant changes in the shape and size of bulbs. Its adaptability is reflective of the enduring popularity of this classic design.

Perfect for the office and home, the PH 5 is completely glare-free. The fixture was named PH 5 due to the 50cm diameter of the main shade. Poul Henningsen wanted the light of the PH 5 to be warmer, so added a red cone and small blue reflector inside the pendant.
The PH 5 is also now offered in a range of exciting contemporary hues, based on the success of the PH 5 Mini series of pendants.
