Innovatively designed by Anatomy Design Studio, the Karakter Copenhagen Awkward Floor Lamp is derived from the desire to illuminate two separate spaces within close proximity.
Intentionally proportioned with a quirky slightly off-centre balance, the Awkward floor lamp can light two sides of a sofa, two adjoining rooms or a lounge chair and a desk. The slender arms, one short and one long, create a contradictory balance, dictating a design that is perfectly described as 'awkward'. A delicate frame of black lacquered aluminium, along with a crucial and considered design anatomy, allows this striking idea to become a reality, creating an elegant and striking lighting solution unlike any other.
