Designed by Andrea Kleinloog from Anatomy Design, the Karakter Copenhagen Lab Table Lamp was inspired by the designer’s parents’ pharmaceutical work and old lab equipment, giving the lamp a high sense of functionality, while retaining a classic, vintage look.
The Lab Table Lamp is simple in its aesthetic, but inspiring through its mix of materials; a porcelain base contrasts beautifully with the painted black steel stem, while the rotating brass shade completes the piece with a refined, vintage style. The shade may be moved upwards and downwards along the stem, allowing flexibility in where its light is cast. An in-line on/off switch is seamlessly integrated into the black fabric cable.
