Designer Staffan Holm looks to the East for inspiration for the Hem Udon Dining Chair.
An effortless, charming piece, the Udon dining chair is beautifully crafted from beech, with simple wood stain allowing for the character-rich wood grain to breathe and take centre-stage. Proving that looks can be deceiving, the Udon chair has been brought to life using a large amount of skill and effort, with Holm borrowing from Japanese carpentry traditions in order to realise his vision. A few simple joints allow for a clean line to be maintained throughout the chair, while a premium leather seat provides an additional level of comfort to this configuration of the Hem Udon Dining Chair.
