Designed by Hee Welling, the Hay About a Chair AAC 12 Eco is a new eco-friendly addition to the About A furniture family.
Welling’s objective was to recreate HAY’s iconic AAC chair from a more sustainable perspective. In the AAC 12 Eco, 30% of the plastic used to form the sculptural seat shell is recycled waste material from HAY’s About A production lines, while the wooden base is available in FSC-certified oak or walnut with a water-based lacquer. A versatile design that is both stylish and kind to the planet, the AAC 12 Eco is a longlasting addition to the modern home.
