Bermudez draws upon her Mediterranean roots to bring forth the Roots collection for GAN. Applying simple structures and natural tones, the Roots rugs are a natural creation made from jute weft and cotton warp. Defined by the contrasting weave, the Roots 01 Rug depicts a wide-spaced checkered pattern that stretches across the entire design with a contemporary flair. Striking when used as a solitary piece, the Roots 01 can be just as effective when layered with rugs of other tones and textures, including the wider Roots collection.
