Characteristic of Charlotte Lancelot's work, the GAN Canevas Flower Rug demonstrates a striking mix of textures, patterns and colours. Drawing from the classic cross-stitch technique, Lancelot modernises the process with sporadic stitching to create a pixelated image. Vivid wool threads are stitched together in a distorted pattern and form vibrant floral imagery. Available in both natural and coloured patterns with three different sizes to choose from, the eclectic design is an ideal engaging addition to any space.
Charlotte Lancelot was born in Brussels in 1980 and studied at the Escuela Nacional Superior de la Cambre where she qualified in Industrial Design in 2003. She worked with architect and designer Alain Berteau for two years before setting up her own studio, with which she took part in the Milan Satellite Trade Show in 2006.
She collaborates with companies such as Ligne Roset, Koziol, Konstantin, Slawinki, Kidslab, Easyoga…
