Contemporary, yet reminiscent of English mid-century modern design this piece utilises Pitchards signature style. The cushion is manufactured solely in the British Isles, with weaving taking place in west Wales, the Scottish Islands and the heartland of English textiles, Lancashire. Versatile and adaptable the Furlong fits seamlessly into any environment bringing a touch of history to the most modern spaces.
In her own words, British textile designer Eleanor Pritchard has "always loved playing with colour and pattern. My work often has a mid-century quality and I feel a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and I see much of my work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.”
