Woven with a chunky flecked Irish tweed yarn and a contrasting fine even wool, this rust red and black cushion utilises Pitchards signature style; bold geometric shapes and simplistic patterns. The entire range is manufactured solely in the British Isles, with weaving taking place in west Wales, the Scottish Islands and the heartland of English textiles, Lancashire.
In her own words, British textile designer Eleanor Pritchard has "always loved playing with colour and pattern. My work often has a mid-century quality and I feel a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and I see much of my work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.”
