Eleanor Pritchard’s woven designs showcase a genuine love of pattern and inspiration she draws from Britain’s textile tradition. To ensure that her designs represent authenticity, the entire collection is made in the British Isles, with weaving taking place in west Wales, the Scottish Islands and the Lancashire heartland of English textiles. This particular piece features an ink blue and chalk colour scheme, with a black and white marl finish.
In her own words, British textile designer Eleanor Pritchard has "always loved playing with colour and pattern. My work often has a mid-century quality and I feel a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and I see much of my work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.”
