Sculptural in tone to the point where it can easily be mistaken for a simple ornament, the Lampe B Table Lamp is a great example of DCW Editions’ approach to modern designers. In collaborating with Dreyfus, who is much better known for his larger-scale work, the French design house have managed to capture something of the essence of his work, albeit on a more accessible level.
The Lampe B is made from a combination of aluminium and gypsum, with the resulting piece being one which is light in weight, but heavy in presence, with the piece carrying a real sense of itself that is certain to elevate any space.

Thierry Dreyfus is a French designer who has worked with a raft of international design houses and institutions.
Dreyfus came of age as the lighting designer at the Strasbourg Opera House at just 19 years old, before going on to make a name for himself in the fashion world as a lighting and art director. There, he collaborated with the likes of Comme des Garçons, Yves Saint-Laurent, Dior, and Marni, before conceiving a number of impressive art installations for museums and historic buildings, including Notre Dame Cathedral.
