Minimalist in his approach to design, Odgard often sketches and later removes anything unnecessary, the result, a pared-back creation much like the MO330. Created with two main shapes in mind, a commonplace cylinder and a hemisphere, reminiscent of the rising sun, the pared-back pendant offers a sense of calm when suspended in contemporary surroundings. The weighted structure of the body ensures the lamp always hangs straight, casting a direct overhead light perfect for displaying over a dining table or desk.
