Spanish architect Manuel Valls Vergés was born in Barcelona in 1912. In 1940 he set up his studio with Jose Antonio Coderch, a partnership that lasted until the 1960s.
In 1960 he received the FAD Architecture Prize and in 1982 he received the Gold Medal from the C.O.A.C. (Catalan Society of Architects), and in 2000 he passed away.
