In the last few years, the humble mirror has had a much needed revival.
Mirrors are not only essential for modern living, but they are also a great way to make a statement or add decoration to a space. There has been a flurry of new designs emerge in the last few years from both established brands as well as new and emerging talent.
Our collection includes everything from hand-held pieces to large-scale designs, so whatever your style there’ll be a mirror to suit you and your space.
For small, innovative designs at a low price-point, try Normann Copenhagen. We love their Ready Hook Mirror which effortlessly combines a mirror with a coat hook – a truly innovative design that is ideal for smaller spaces. Their latest collection, released only this year, also includes the Fold Mirror, which looks great hung in a group, the Reflect Mirror and the perfect-for-dressing-tables Flip Mirror, which comes with a handy built-in tray.
Although with a slightly smaller collection than Normann, Hay, also have some fantastic, modern pieces. Their hand-held Mirror Mirror is a must-have for any design-conscious dressing table while their curvaceous Shapes Mirror adds a fun splash of colour wherever it is placed.
Innovative French design studio La Chance recently launched their Iconic Standing Mirrors – a collection of full-length mirrors made from either solid oak or white Carrara marble. These bold, sturdy designs would look just as good in the hallway as they would in the bedroom. We love the oh-so-pretty red and oak version below which is part of their colour-conscious Jekyll range.
Bathroom's needn't miss out when it comes to stylish mirror designs. Kristalia offer a fab range of free-standing and hidden-storage mirrors, ideal for space-starved bathrooms. Our pick is the Mini Box Double Storage Unit – a contemporary bathroom storage unit with external built-in mirrors.
For those looking for a mirror with undeniable luxury try the Adnet collection from Gubi. Available in circular or rectangular versions, these leather-bound mirrors were first designed in the 1950s by Jacques Adnet in a collaboration with perennial French fashion house, Hermès, and still look as fantastic today as they did then.
Finally we take a look at the newest members to our mirror collection – the Mira range from Swedese. This collection, which can either come wall-mounted or free-standing, are the ultimate simple, fuss-free mirrors. They are elegant and practical and will last a lifetime.
So, whether you prefer eclectic, modern and multi-purpose, or refined and luxurious, we will have the mirror that's right for you.
